Everest Base Camp Trek difficulty

A lot of trekkers question about is Everest base camp trek difficulty, can I do this EBC trek? Per day how much km do I have to walk?

Everest base camp trek (5,316m) is the adventure challenge route in Himalayana before goes trekking you have to be in good health, fitness body, and you have to do a 3,000m high hike. Which makes your trip most comfortable and easy to reach base camp. This trek is a remote part and highest region of the world, the trail is not too difficult in terms of technical climbing, but during the trek, you have to walk through lots of ascends, descends, glaciers zone, icefalls path, and rocky steep. Per day you have to walk 6 to 7 hours as well as we designed acclimatization days for safe altitude sickness. If your body did not acclimatize with the altitude, then there are high chances of altitude sickness, which in the worst case can ruin the entire trip. You walk from 3000m to 5,545m, if you have not super fitness then it is harder for you.

Everest Base Camp Trek Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory to have to join an adventurous trip in the Himalayas. It is for your safety. The travel insurance must cover things like illness, medical emergencies, accidents, death, trip cancellation, and loss of personal baggage & items. All costs for Emergency Evacuation must be paid in cash in Nepal unless an insurance company has agreed to pay all the cost on your behalf. Make sure that your travel insurance covers activities in the Himalayas if you are participating in them.

*Note: Foreigners are not allowed to purchase an insurance policy in Nepal. So make sure to purchase good travel insurance in your country, and it is your responsibility to check whether your insurance policy is adequate or not.

Everest Base Camp Trek Accommodation

Everest base camp accommodations are Lodge and Teahouse. Around Kathmandu, we can find a good facility with comfortable accommodation at the Hotel. The Everest Base Camp Trek all accommodations are on the twin-shared basis. During the trek, Himalayan frozen Adventure will manage room with attached washrooms. In the teahouse, we have to share the toilet. Single room is available in Kathmandu and the lower elevation trekking region but might be impossible to higher elevations.

At the Kathmandu has included only breakfast. During the Everest Base Camp Trek, all meals will be provided. In the Everest region, we can enjoy Nepalese food with international cuisine like Tibetan, Continental, Indian, Tibetan, Italian, etc. Through the trek, we have breakfast/lunch at the teahouse and Dinner will be at the lodge.
