Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu [1,300m]

You get picked up from the international airport by one of our team members. He/she will assist you to the hotel and inform you about the day program. As per your flight landing schedule, you may have or not free time to relax and explore the nearby streets. Regardless, the day is going to end with lots of laughter and happy moments when you meet with other team members over welcome dinner.

Day 02:Kathmandu sightseeing and trek preparation [1,300m]

It is an extra day in Kathmandu for trek preparation and a short guided city tour. The day begins early, and you go on guided UNESCO World Heritage Sites seeing tour. As you will be accompanied by a professional tour guide, he/she will brief you about the monuments and their importance. Later, in the day, you meet with the trek guide and prepare for the trip. The preparation includes checking all the gears and documents as well as briefing the trail.

Day 03:Drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola [710m, 8–9 hours]

You take a long drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola enjoying the beautiful countryside and mountain views. Up to Dhading Bensi, the road is well-made. From here, it is going to be a rough bumpy ride to Sotikhola via Arughat.

Day 04:Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola [900m, 6–7 hours]

You cross a bridge and trek through dense sal forests. The trail ascends to a ridge and takes you to Khursane. From here, you walk on a rocky trail and pass by two lovely waterfalls. Further, the trail descends through rice terraces and reaches Labubesi. You then ascend and descend towards Machha Khola. The trail crosses a suspension bridge before reaching Machha Khola.

Day 05:Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat [1,410m, 6–7 hours]

Walking on a narrow trail, you ascend and descend a few times before crossing Tharo Khola. Passing by Khorla Besi, you reach Tatopani. From here, the trail climbs to a ridge and crosses Budhi Gandaki river on a suspension bridge. Further, you gradually ascend and cross another suspension bridge over Yaru Khola and move towards Tharo Bharyang. You will cross the west bank of Budhi Gandaki and ascend to reach Jagat.

Day 06:Trek from Jagat to Deng [1,804m, 6–7 hours]

After having breakfast, you ascend and reach Salleri. The trail then descends to Sirdibas and continues to Ghatta Khola. Crossing a long suspension bridge in Philim, your trek by millet fields to reach Ekle Bhatti. From here, the trail steeply ascends and then descends to a grassy slope. You cross Budhi Gandaki and walk along the bank. Further, you cross the east bank of the river and walk through lush forests of Bamboo that lead to Deng Khola and ultimately to Deng village.

Day 07:Trek from Deng to Namrung [2,630m, 6–7 hours]

Crossing Budhi Gandaki river, you ascend and join the trail from Bhi. The trailhead west and passes through a dense forest. Further, you pass by Ghap and Prok villages. You will cross Budhi Gandaki river several times and pass by a narrow gorge. From here, trekking through a lush forest, you ascend on steep that take you to Namrung.

Day 08:Trek from Namrung to Samagaon [3,530m, 6–7 hours]

Leaving Namrung behind, you begin trekking enjoying stunning views of Siring Himal, Mt. Himalchuli, and Ganesh Himal. The trail gradually ascends through the lush forest to Lihi. From here, you descend and pass by villages like Sho, Lho, and Shyala. The trail will then take you to beautiful Sama Gaon.

Day 09:Acclimatization or Rest day in Samagaon [3,530m]

Today is your rest day in Sama Gaon. You will explore the village and spend time with the locals. People here are mostly Sherpas and follow Buddhism. You will visit an ancient gompa called Pungyen Gompa as well. This is one of the very important gompas of the region.

Day 10:Trek from Samagaon to Samdo [3,860m, 4–5 hours]

The trail descends to the Budho Gandaki river and crosses a bridge over a side stream in the north. You will pass by numerous mani walls on the way. Trekking through lush forests of birch and juniper, you reach Kermo Kharka. From here, you descend and cross a wooden bridge. Further, the trail ascends to Samdo via Kani.

Day 11:Acclimatization or Rest day in Samdo [3,860m]

Today is another rest day in Samdo that will help your body adjust with the altitude. You will go on a short hike to a viewpoint from where you get to see wonderful views of Mt. Hiunchuli, Mt. Cheo, Mt. Ngadi, Larkye Peak, etc. Likewise, you will also get to see wild birds like Lophophorus, Himalayan Griffin, Lammergeyer, etc.

Day 12:Trek from Samdo to Dharamsala aka Larkya Base Camp [4,460m, 4–5 hours]

You continue descending and cross a wooden bridge over the Budi Gandaki river. Further, you will cross two-stream and ascend towards Salka Khola. The trail offers stunning views of Larkya Glacier. You will reach Dharamsala, which is the base of Larkya La Pass.

Day 13:Trek from Dharamsala to Larkya La Pass [5,160m/16,924ft] and Bimtang [3,720m, 8–9 hours]

Today, you wake up early in the morning and begin walking towards the north side of Larkya Glacier. Passing by moraines, you slowly ascend on a steep path to Larkya La Pass. From the top of the pass, you get to see outstanding views of Mt. Annapurna II, Mt. Kanguru, Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, etc. Further, the trail descends to Bimtang where you will be spending the night.

Day 14:Trek from Bimthang to Tilije [2,300m, 5–6 hours]

The trail offers fantastic views of numerous Himalayan mountains and descends. Crossing a high pasture and then a bridge over Dudh Khola, walk through lush forests of rhododendron. From here, you walk through a narrow valley and pass terraced fields. Further, a steep ascent takes you to Gho village and then to Tilije.

Day 15:Trek from Tilije to Tal [1,700m, 5–6 hours]

After having a warm breakfast, you walk on a stone-paved trail and pass by a small village. Crossing a bridge over Dudh Khola, you ascend and reach Dharapani. On the way, you pass by a Chorten and mani wall. From Dharapani, you enter the Annapurna Circuit trail and cross a bridge over Marshyangdi Khola. Day 16:Trek from Tal to Syange [1,080m, 6–7 hours]

You will cross Marshyangdi Khola and move towards Chyamje. The trail passes through colorful terraced fields and small villages. Further, following a downhill walk through a lovely forest of rhododendron and pine, you reach Syange.
