Everest Base Camp Trek 10 days Details Itinerary
Day 01:Flight to Lukla [2,850m/9,350 ft] [40 min flight], Trek to Phakding [2,650m, 3 hrs]
After breakfast, we take a scenic flight to Tenzing and Hillary Airport Lukla Airport, which is our trekking starting point. Our trail through Dudh Koshi and the prosperous village of Lukla begins. Today our trail is short and easy. Finally, after 3 hours of walking, we’ll reach the Phakding, which is a good facility for Accommodation, Meals, and Lodges.
Day 02:Phakding to Namche Bazaar [3,440m, 6 hrs]
After having breakfast, we continue our journey to Namche Bazaar. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River and enjoys suspension bridges. Hillary Suspension bridge is the most famous in Khumbu, which we cross then we enter the Sagarmatha National Park where is permit will be registered. Day 03:Namche Bazaar to Tengboche [3,855m, 5 hrs]
After having breakfast, our trekking altitude will increase from today. During the trek, we see the highest mountain magnificent views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Nuptse. The trail goes to pine forest, where we’ll found local wildlife. Through the walking, we cross the Dudh Koshi river bridge and prayer flags, then we arrive at Tengboche, where we explore the Tengboche monastery there has 20 feet sculpture of Budhha. Overnight we spend Tengboche.
Day 04:Trek to Dingboche [4,360m, 5 hrs]
After having breakfast, our trek continues to Pangboche. The trip passes through mani walls, many Chortens, and small villages. On the way, we have a close view of Ama Dablam peak. After crossing Imja Valley, Lobuche River, meadows, and forests finally we arrive at local Sherpa village Dingboche, where we spend our night.
Day 05:Trek to Lobuche [4,930m, 5 hrs]
After breakfast, the route takes us to Lobuche, which is being filled with beautiful mountain views, where we’ll found an amazing Himalayan experience. Today, our trek will explore Khumbu Glacier and small lodges. The trip is challenging to goes a higher elevation. Lobuche is a large settlement, where we get impressive shops and hotels.
Day 06:Trek to Everest Base Camp [5,364m/17,598ft] back to Gorak Shep [5,185m, 7–8 hrs]
Today, we’ll get to our Everest base camp destination. The trail crosses the Khumbu Glacier then we climb up to Gorak Shep. We take a short break to Lunch at Gorak Shep and continue to Everest base camp. Finally, we arrive at a base camp. We take enjoy between the mountains, where we’ll found lifetime experience. After exploring Everest, we return to Gorak Shep, where we spend our overnight.

Day 07:Hike to Kala Patthar [5,555m/18,208ft] trek to Gorak Shep to Pheriche [4,250m, 5 hrs]
Early in the morning, we take a short hike to a popular Kala Patthar viewpoint. Through the trail, we have wonderful views of mountains and peaks. After arriving at Kala Patthar, we have a great opportunity to see the amazing sunrise view and Mount Everest. After enjoying the viewpoint, we return to Gorak Shep, where we take a few minutes of rest, then trek to Pheriche, where we’ll spend overnight.
Day 08:Trek to Namche Bazaar [3,440m, 6–7 hrs]
After having breakfast, our trail goes through down rhododendron trees and we cross the Dudh Koshi river bridge, where we see the prayer flag. Between Pheriche and Namche, there is a beautiful forest where we’ll be able to find wildlife snow leopards, mountain goats, colorful pheasants, etc. Today, we spend overnight at Namche, where there is a good facility for Accommodation, Meals, and Lodge.

Day 09:Trek to Lukla [2,850m, 6–7 hrs]
After breakfast, our trek goes to Lukla, which was our trekking starting point. We walk down to Dudh Koshi valley, then start our climb steep way to Lukla. After 6 hours of walking, we arrive at Lukla, where we spend our night.
Day 10:Flight back to Kathmandu [1,350, 30 mins]
Today we leave the Everest region. After 30 minutes of scenic flight from Lukla, we arrive in Kathmandu and drive to the hotel.

Everest Base Camp Trek Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory to have to join an adventurous trip in the Himalayas. It is for your safety. The travel insurance must cover things like illness, medical emergencies, accidents, death, trip cancellation, and loss of personal baggage & items. All costs for Emergency Evacuation must be paid in cash in Nepal unless an insurance company has agreed to pay all the costs on your behalf. Make sure that your travel insurance covers activities in the Himalayas if you are participating in them.
*Note: Foreigners are not allowed to purchase an insurance policy in Nepal. So make sure to purchase good travel insurance in your country, and it is your responsibility to check whether your insurance policy is adequate or not.
Everest Base Camp Trek 10 days Accommodation
Everest base camp accommodations are Lodge and Teahouse. Around Kathmandu, we can find a good facility with comfortable accommodation at the Hotel. At the Everest Base Camp Trek, all accommodations are on a twin-shared basis. During the trek, Himalayan frozen Adventure will manage a room with attached washrooms. In the teahouse, we have to share the toilet. A single room is available in Kathmandu and the lower elevation trekking region but might be impossible in higher elevations.

At the Kathmandu has included only breakfast. During the Everest Base Camp Trek, all meals will be provided. In the Everest region, we can enjoy Nepalese food with international cuisine like Tibetan, Continental, Indian, Tibetan, Italian, etc. Throughout the trek, we have breakfast/lunch at the teahouse and Dinner will be at the lodge.
